Cloud Gate is a single object of around 25×15×12m. De Cloud Gate is een werk van de Britse kunstenaar Anish Kapoor en is de blikvanger op het AT&T-plein in het Millennium Park in de Amerikaanse stad Chicago.Het kunstwerk is gebouwd tussen 2004 en 2006 en wordt in de volksmond vanwege de boonvormige gelijkenis ook wel The Bean genoemd. It is made of polished stainless steel and is seamless. Cloud Gate draws in the sky and the surrounding buildings.
Kapoor called it "Cloud Gate," and indeed one passes under it as through a gate. This is my sketch of my own thoughts in confrontation with the Bean.
