Stanton Creek - Primitive Camping There is primitive camping just within the boundaries of the Bullfrog Marina called Stanton Creek Campground where you can camp on the water’s edge at Lake Powell.
This is a PAY campground. Management.
Stanton Creek was established back in 1932 as a tourist stop selling huckleberries; it had a small grocery store, cafe and cabins. Stanton Creek is great on Memorial Day as long as you don't mind listening to people running their generators all night long! In the Wahweap District of the park at the Beehive Primitive Campground, camping will be allowed for the 3-day maximum stay only, within the six designated camping pads. Customers who choose to cancel reservations during this time will receive two refunds - one for the initial cancellation, minus the cancellation fee, and a second for the cancellation fee. Golden Age $3 per person / night. We hesitated to pay the $15 fee (good for a week) required just to enter the sprawling marina grounds but it ended up being well worth it.
