I need to get my booty to Scotland haha. Loads of information and kids loved it.i had great expectations of this castle, from the outside i couldnt wait to enter it , but i was so disappointed , the entry fee was high as to what we were allowed to see, only a very few rooms , lots of swords, military history, but i was expecting as in a lot of castles iv visited , to be shown a lot more rooms , yes i was not pleased , they should either open up more rooms , or charge less entry fee,We called in here having driven past the previous week during torrential rain. The food and service were very good in the castle tearoom, prices were high but no different to any other attraction of this type.Longish walk up to castle but worth it for the first glimpse of castle.
