The Imam and the Indian novel was released in 2002 and features a large collection of different themed essays that include Egyptian culture, literature, history of the novel and fundamentalism.Ghosh went to the University of Delhi for his higher education graduating with Bachelor of Arts and Masters Degree in 1976 and 1978 respectively. Its raining in Mumbai and every year during the rains I read the The Hungry Tide and I am doing that again this week. Enjoyed it as much, and in some parts, even more than the first book. Where I live there’s no true spring and spring time in Europe is summer here! I can’t imagine the amount of work that you must put into bringing to us amazing facets of history, slices of humanity, and of course, the characters.
