ASM Materials Camps® exemplify hands-on discovery for the college bound. The camp is housed in a recently completed, four building, $300M science and engineering complex. What we will be doing is providing interactive, virtual Materials Camp® options so that students can attend and learn. ASM Materials Camps® excite and engage young, aspiring minds. This is a competitive application process. July 20-23, 2020 (Virtual Camp) Students must have a strong interest in applied materials science. More details are available on their web site. A wonderful opportunity is now available from the ASM Materials Education Foundation to attend an online summer camp. After careful consideration about the hands-on format of ASM Materials Camp and review of the CDC guidance on community events on preventing the spread of COVID-19, I have made the difficult decision to cancel camp scheduled for June 16-19, 2020.
