Anything our community should know before heading out to Bryce Canyon Sunset?In addition to the campgrounds, facilities include the historic Bryce Canyon Lodge, visitor center, shuttle bus service, restaurants, gift shots, picnic areas, a laundry, showers and public WiFi. Outdoor recreation includes hiking, biking, backcountry hiking/camping, horseback riding, stargazing, picnicking and viewing nature.
The rim of Bryce Canyon sits at an elevation of between 8,000 and 9,100 feet. This means, even at this southern latitude, temperatures can be very cool, particularly at night. Located in a pine forest the entire campground and site pads are dirt roads (very dusty when dry). This campground, set within Bryce Canyon National Park's limits, is a beautiful setting to nestle into while visiting the park.
