Maddie does not want to be taken away from Deacon, and Daphne does not want to be separated from her sister as well as not wanting to choose between Teddy and Deacon. She says she has a story she will love that she can print. Scarlett and Gunnar are filming their commercial when Scarlett breaks down and cries.Avery talks to the bartender, drunk, about Juliette, and she flirts with him. Will has a problem performing when he tries to hookup with someone, which is later diagnosed as a result of him taking steroids. Jeffrey offers to buy it under his label. Avery turns down his new manager's offer for a tour, saying Juliette needs him. Daphne is going to a pool party.
This freaks Deacon out and worries him because he knows people experience stuff like this before they pass away. Darius tells Juliette she is a narcissist who never needed her fame, Avery, or her kid, and that she needs to give back by attending an outreach program in Bolivia and that her daily life can't dilute her awakening. Gunnar looks around his old house. Daphne has to dissect a frog with Jake. Following an argument in relation to how his father treated him as a child, Deacon refuses to invite him to the Bluebird to see him perform until Scarlett returns with Gideon and Deacon performs the first song he learned to play on guitar.
We see a flashback to Juliette, and Jolene running home saying that Juliette's dad is not coming back home and something bad happened (after he drove off earlier). This leads to Alannah leaving the band and signing with Brad.
Avery tells Deacon that he is done caring, and he no longer cares about his wife anymore.
After a talk with Scarlett, Maddie accepts Daphne's input. Scarlett moves out, but keeps a key.
There he is reunited with Jakob Fine who is doing his wardrobe fitting. Jessie drives Deacon off to a trail and makes him go and take a walk.
Juliette is unimpressed, Will is open to it, and Gunnar isn't sure. It is hosted by Bob Saget, who is assisted by the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders, with live music supplied by "The X-O Band".
Deacon and Jessie talk about their relationship status and how to tell their kids when Daphne runs into them.
Meanwhile, there now is a new love triangle - Scarlett, Damien, and Gunnar. Juliette flashes back to her mom and dad having a fight, and her dad driving away. She eventually has to stop. Deacon heads out to Juliette's performance. Will wants to sing with Gunnar again. Avery decides to move in with Gunnar and Will while Alannah decides to trap Brad after seeing him flirting with his receptionist and following a talk with Jessie. Deacon meets with Zach and Alyssa, and Deacon tells Zach that they won't change the lyric in Maddie's song. The choir comes to sing, Juliette is happy about this.

Nashville Squares is an American game show broadcast on CMT.It is a country music-themed spinoff of Hip Hop Squares, itself based on the classic game show Hollywood Squares, and is produced by CMT, whose parent company ViacomCBS owns the format.

On May 12, 2016, ABC cancelled the series after four seasons. Jessie and Deacon bond. Avery can't find Juliette and when he calls the cult headquarters in Bolivia, they aren't any help. Bucky escorts him out while she calls for security.Rayna has put a restraining order out on her stalker, and beefs up security at her house.
Juliette goes to Darius' headquarters and hears people crying hysterically behind closed doors, Darius tells her it is the next stage called witnessing. Scarlett talks to Jessie about her and Deacon's relationship. Juliette is rehearsing, and she has another episode, she pictures memories of her dad and Jolene fighting.
Candida Boyette-Clemons and Trevor Rose are executive producers for CMT, with Leslie Fram as executive-in-charge of music. She also has a hard time dealing with Brad, who does not like the songs she submitted. After pleas from Rayna and the police he lets her go and is arrested. Maddie tweets something to Juliette that she doesn't like. At a pyjamas party at Jonah's mansion, his ex-girlfriend Mia shows up and they make out with each other while Twig is left to cover for him. Avery tells Deacon Juliette is acting like a friend he had who got involved in a cult and was changed forever. Tonight, (insert situation), we got (insert celebrity), squaring off with (insert celebrity)! And now, your host, ME!" Pam Tillis introduces Deacon, and he sings three songs.
Her organs are failing, and her outcome isn't too promising. Hallie has some reservations on signing since the label only wants her and not her band too. Maddie tries to put the moves on him but he resists due to him being seven years older, and her being white. Avery tries to take her home, but she yells and say she's not coming home. Turns out he was just saying that to cover up the fact he is bi-polar. Daphne wants to help, but Maddie harshly turns her down.
