Then the fancier outdoor Desert Ridge Mall opened with it's outdoor activities for kids.. fancier chain restaurants and chain stores.. and it's newer movie theatre... etc.. and all the young people disappeared and hung out up north at Desert Ridge. Paradise Valley Mall is a shopping mall located in Paradise Valley Village, within northeastern Phoenix, Arizona.Anchor stores are Costco, Dillard's, JCPenney, and Macy's.. But, all this being the case, it's nice to have a Costco actually at this location and the remaining stores and malls and nice to shop at. That being the case, judge Paradise as what it currently is.. many stores are gone and part of it was torn down and replaced by a Costco over the last dozen years.
