Outside to … I think so. I’m pretty sure I watch most of Nancy Meyers films mostly so I can ogle the homes…..I love that you’ve dedicated an entire post to the genius that is Nancy Meyers. The exterior is only matched by the comfy cool interior with a gorgeous kitchen, spacious living room and don’t forget the renovated baby suite they add in Father of the Bride 2.The house Cameron Diaz retreats to in the English countryside is so adorable, we couldn’t resist putting both houses from the movie on this list. Reese Witherspoon plays an interior designer in this movie, so the design of the house had to be amazing. Steve Martin’s character, George Banks, lives in the dream home. Nancy does private readings for clients as well as the work she is best known for publicly, her work on murder and missing person's cases. But it’s the kitchen that really shines—it’s sleek-but-cozy, with a rustic-meets-industrial vibe. Ah, there’s nothing as dreamy as a Nancy Meyers’ style kitchen (think Father of the Bride, The Parent Trap, Something’s Gotta Give, It’s Complicated to name a few).
She taught college writing and Spanish at a local community college for 16 years. I’m also a big movie fan so I’m always happy to post about other people’s movies as well.Well, I cook at one and serve on the other one. And I meditate every day which helps me balance all that we’re living through. Most definitely quarantine headquarters.Oh, gee, not too much. At least in my genre. Outfitted with not one, but two spacious islands, a double oven, white glass-front cabinets, and marble counters, Meyers' real-life kitchen serves up as much design inspiration as her much-celebrated sets. With high ceilings, a killer pool, blackout shades in the bedroom, and a move theater quality media room, we’re ready to move in any time of year. From Home Again to Something's Gotta Give, Inside All of Nancy Meyers' Movie Dream Houses The true stars of the writer, producer and director’s films are the swoon-worthy sets Nancy Meyer’s Office Meyers’ home office is off the living room and the octagonal library (not shown in the magazine.)
I love her, she’s very zen, and I think basically I’m just trying to channel her, hoping some of her zen rubs off on me.“I was surprised by my 22-year-old kitchen getting so much attention.”I wasn’t working prior to quarantine, I had given myself a lovely break from work but now I’m actually working on a little something, but I can’t talk about it quite yet. Nancy Meyers makes movies where people are always falling in love … with the homes. Nancy Meyers didn’t think much about it.
