It could be that my motherboard's PCI-E lane distribution is 16x and 8x for the two card, (optimal is 16x/16x but two slot apart, too hot for these), is it possible that the PCI-E lane count influence the NVLink speed?I checked nvlink satus with the test program @William posted and the result is affirmative.If you do give it a try, please let us know how it goes :)I also just found out that NVIDIA pulled a stupid and made the Quadro RTX 5000's NVLink connector a smaller size. When you know that, your search becomes much easier. I would be happy to test with the GV100's bridges, if we had any... but we don't, and they are so expensive (~$500!) Last week I tested 4 RTX2070 Super's with NVLINK using one bridge that was from a box labeled for RTX Quadro 8000 and one that was labeled for RTX Quadro 6000. try aura sync and all sync but 1 of card no sync .
