Tuning enemy stats to absurd percentages just doesn’t cut it when so many other shooters are present meaningfully difficult hand-crafted challenges. The Division 2: Warlords of New York Review 04 March 2020 | By Marcello Perricone. Frank Sinatra famously used to sing that if you can make it in New York, you’re gonna make it anywhere. The Warlords of New York DLC for The Division 2 is a fantastic update to one of the most promising shooters around, but it comes almost too late to matter.. There was a lack of new content, and many time-consuming builds were "balanced" which ultimately weakened the player's stats. There is not much to the story as there is to the gameplay. All in all, The Division 2: Warlords of New York is just more Division. I have found it to be an enjoyable expansion to a game that needed some tender loving care when it first came out. Keener isn’t the most exciting of antagonists, but it’s still nice to have a more tangible adversary. One of The Division’s biggest missed opportunities has always been the Dark Zone but there are welcome changes there, too. In that regard the expansion feels like a missed opportunity, but it’s still more depth than we got in the base game’s campaign. Before you can take on Keener, you’ll need to battle his lieutenants. It limits the number of viable playstyles, removes any semblance of intuition from combat, and – perhaps – worst of all rewards boring behavior. Although there isn't very much to the narrative, the added difficulty to gameplay made it worth it. The Division was a wonderful idea, at least on paper. For one, the snow has melted, the entire cityscape giving off an I Am Legend vibe, as greenery breaks through the paving slabs and tarmac. There is seasonal content to come as well, starting next week – so expect plenty of in-game events that offer high risk/high reward missions for players. Whilst Warlords of New York considerably improves upon the original experience, only time will tell how the endgame progresses.. You can reach gear score 515, which is an entirely different measurement of player power that used to be capped at 500. As you take down each of the rogue agents, you damage Keener’s leadership and supply chains that bring you closer to Liberty Island, where you take on Keener.Former First Wave Division Agents Vivian Conley, Javier Kajika, James Dragov, and Theo Parnell are working with Keener and are the only leads you have in getting him.
Through the course of the expansion, the character will reach level 40.
